New High Pressure Check Valves Prevent Reverse Flow in Gas, Liquid or other Fluid Handling Applications where Leak-Tight Shutoff is Required
ERIE, PA Innovative Pressure Technologies (IPT) introduces High Pressure Check Valves. High Pressure Check Valves are rated for maximum working pressure up to 60,000 PSI (4140 bar), and are available in two styles to satisfy nearly any gas or liquid application, or fluid handling application in the chemical/petrochemical, research and oil and gas industries. They are specifically designed to prevent reverse flow in applications where leak-tight shutoff is an absolute requirement.
The Ball Seat Poppet style check valve is rated for use in temperatures ranging from -420°F to 1200°F (-251°C to 648°C), and features a metal-to-metal seat for rapid cycling or severe environments. The Soft Seat Poppet style check valve is rated for use in temperatures ranging from -65°F to 250°F (-54°C to 121°C) with the standard Nitrile seal, and features an O-ring seat for fast shut-off and reliable sealing. With the Soft Seat Poppet style, a variety of other seal materials are available to provide reliable operation and long life, even in the harshest media.
High Pressure Check Valves are constructed of 315 Stainless Steel, with other materials available upon request to satisfy specific application needs. They feature female H/P cone and thread end connections, and are rated for nominal cracking pressure of 15 PSI (1 bar), with optional cracking pressures up to 100 PSI (7 bar).
